Source Code Licensing

All of the software produced by Nebula Development either includes the source code, or, the source code is available under a licensing agreement.

Typically, we allow our customers to do anything they like with our software packages, including the following:

Reselling the software under the Nebula Brand

Re-Branding (Private Label) the software and reselling it

Integrating our software into your package

Customizing the software and reselling it

Offering the application as a hosted package

Installation Information

To install and run the demo and the final application on purchase, you will need to know the following information:

For All Programs that use SQL Server 2005 Express:

You should also be familiar and comfortable with the installation, configuring, creating users, backing up, and restoring SQL Server 2005 Express Databases using the SQL Server Management Studio Express Database administration tool.

You should also be familiar with connecting applications to SQL Server 2005 using connection strings.

For All Programs that use MySQL:

You should also be familiar with the installation, configuring, creating users, backing up, and restoring MySQL5 Databases.

For Programs that use VB Dot Net

You should be familiar with setting-up and programming VB Dot Net Framework 2.0 Winforms applications in the Visual Studio 2005 environment, and how to access the SQL Server 2005 database engine from within those applications.

For Programs that use ASP Dot Net

You should be familiar with setting-up and programming ASP Dot Net Framework 2.0 Web applications in the Visual Studio 2005 environment, and how to access the SQL Server 2005 database engine from within those applications.

You should be comfortable setting up virtual directories, applications in IIS, set-up and configuration issues in IIS, and application pools and advanced IIS configuration settings.

For Programs that use Access ADP

You should be familiar with setting-up and programming in the Access ADP Environment, which means that you are using Access with a SQL Server 2005 database engine.

You should also be familiar with connecting applications to SQL Server 2005 using connection strings.

For Programs that use PHP

You should be familiar with setting-up and programming PHP5 Web applications in the Windows or Linux environment, and how to access the MySQL5 database engine from within those applications.

You should be comfortable setting up web applications in apache or IIS, set-up and configuration issues in apache or IIS, and advanced apache or IIS.
