The Rapid Design Methodology

Rapid Application Development in VB Dot Net & ASP Dot Net

We are experts in implementing applications using the Rapid Application Development and Rapid Evolutionary Prototyping software development methodologies, and can build you an application framework or a proof of concept for some of the most complex Client / Server, Web-Based, or N-Tier applications in as little as a week using our internal prototyping tools and processes.

Here is an overview of how our primary methodology, Rapid Evolutionary Development,  works:

  • We mutually agree on the specification

  • We design and implement the database

  • We then implement a "Skeletal Framework"

  • This Framework is posted Live for your review

At this point the application is live, you can review the work that has been done so far to make sure it is going as you expected. If it is a web based project, you can view it live on-line, if it is a Client / Server System we can provide an installation program for download.

We then continue with the next steps:

  • Comment and Review the Framework

  • Fill in the necessary Features and Functions

  • Test the application as we go

  • Client can also take part in the testing process

  • Repeat the above steps until the application is complete

  • Final Testing and Acceptance

Source Code Licensing

All of the software produced by Nebula Development either includes the source code, or, the source code is available under a licensing agreement.

Typically, we allow our customers to do anything they like with our software packages, including the following:

Reselling the software under the Nebula Brand

Re-Branding (Private Label) the software and reselling it

Integrating our software into your package

Customizing the software and reselling it

Offering the application as a hosted package

Basically, the only thing that we do NOT allow is the re-distribution of our source code. You can not resell the source code and you must take all care to protect the source code in your possession.
